Will the CAD section of SoundEasy allow the modeling of an eliptical crossover as used in many speakers designed by Jon Marsh? Thanks, Ernie Cornick

You can model pretty much anything you want in SE. What you'll need to do for optimizing is to somehow create a target that mimics the acoustic response desired for each driver, import it as a target, set up the topology in SE, then optimize each driver to its target.
But since a Cauer filter is a topology used to achieve a response and not a response in and of itself, you'll have to decide where, how deep and of what Q you'll want the "dip" that the Cauer introduces.
Or do it by trial and error.

I have a working model of John's Modula MT series XO. So you can enter any arbetrary parts and evaluate.
