Aperodic Vents?

There was a post awhile back with a link to figuring out when to use and what size to make the box using an aperodic vent. Can someone link me to that post because I can't find the darn thiing anymore. Thanks, Paul.

below is from the description of the SS vario-vent PE p/n 296-546

In practice they are kind of like 'stuffing to taste', and they also snap apart so one can add/remove material as needed.

For enclosure volumes up to 1.75 cu. ft., one vent is required. Up to 2.75 cu. ft., two are needed, and for volumes of more than 2.75 cu. ft., three vents are required.

This was my main interest in these designs (small boxes). An Aperiodic box has it's vents exposed to the open air like a controlled stuffed port. A MAPD box has the vent exposed to a larger volume box (Vas/3 + Vas)..

I'm playing music through my Goldwood/Planar box right now and they're sounding pretty good.
My concern is the resonant point. The woofer's Fs is 53 hz and if it goes up like a closed box - 53 x 1.414 = 75 hz or does it??? That's where I'll need to measure the impedence curve. Until I get my woofer tester I'm in the dark. I'd build a Wallin' Jig, but I don't have the time right now, plus I'd get some neat software and not have to learn SpeakerWorkshop (Time!).
