> You can apply a bucking magnet to the existing magnet. Search Magnets @ PE. Fine one that is as close to the dimensions of your drivers magnet. Don't forget the tweeter! Two part Epoxy will hold it in place!

>i have done that with some success. Take a magnet...(parts express usually has them available) i use one that weighs about 2/3 of the magnet weight of the speaker that i am trying to shield. for instance....i want to use a 20oz shielding magnet on a 30oz magnet on the speaker. i place the magnet so that it is reverse polarity of the magnet that is on the speaker. you have to more or less force the magnet into place. you can feel the resistance as the 2 magnets approach each other. i use a good strong epoxy glue to attach the 2 magnets together. i then use a weight of some sort to hold things in place until the glue dries. (over night) a larger magnet is hard to totally shield....but i have still had very good results in isolating the magnetic interference away from tv tubes and such. good luck! this really works rather well i think!!
