My wife will not be there... which is a good thing because my spending budget at PE multiplies when she is not eying up my credit card usage.
And although my son went last year at 5 months of age, he will be staying home as well.

Ummm Vegas is in Nevada. Dayton is in Ohio. Dayton is about the furthest thing from Vegas. They have the Air Force base and NCR. That is about it.
Of course PE and Mendelsons (SP?) is kind of a Vegas for us geeks...
Best restuarant is "The Pine Club".
Just wanted to make sure we are on the same page.
:)

The Pine Club?? Eh, it's OK if you're an owl or like so-so service.
Eclipse is one of the better ones, but TomKatz is good also and not pitch black 'ambiance'. Plus its right there in front of the hotel. :)

I have 14 coats of poly on them so far...so not much has changed. Probably be spring when i get to finish them b/c its gonna get too cold too quick to really get a good finish. We'll see though. I need a few more coats of poly before i'm satisfied. 20 coats total perhaps....maybe more. Later :)

It has been 10 years since i lived in Dayton and i have not been back since. The Pine Club had some of the best steaks.
I am sure things have changed quite a bit. Last i was there, the area around Wright State was getting developed and looked it it was going to be really nice.

I was not suggesting The Pine Club for DIY dinner... just reminiscing.
It is down in U.D. territory. No where close to the hotel.
