Is SoundEasy compatible with SB Audigy2? It sound like SoundEasy is some what tempermental when it comes to sound cards. It's not a big deal, since I have measurement software, but I would like to listen to the design before wasting time building them.

SE will work with any sound card for the basic measurments of T/S, MLS, etc.

It is when you get into DF and DE that you need a card with more then on set of outputs (so you can drive more then one speaker driver) and it needs be MME-compliant. MME is some kind of windows multimedia extensions or something.

Check the Bodzio site for the list of compliant sound cards.

PS i dont think anyone has mentioned this yet either. SE can program the Behringer DCX2496. So you can make a filter in the crossover CAD schematic editor and download it to your Behringer DCX2496. I have never done it. I just hear you can do it.

If you look closely at the manual, SE can not take a passive filter and convert it to the Berringer. It can take most of the Berringer functions, place it in a block on the schematic editor and predict the combined response.
Powerful, but not a substitution for the PC sound card for evaluating passive crossovers
