This will be my first project and the construction of the speaker is not well documented. The link is located http://www.wadsnet.com/~dtenney/dayton_8MTM.htm

Can anyone help me figure this project out? I need to know how to construct the cabinet and also the speaker placement. I know allot of people built this project so I would appreciate the help. I would love some diagrams. Hook me up

The cabinet dimensions are listed on the site with driver locations data. What kind of help do you need? If it is a diagram with actual dimensions, I could help you by drawing it in CAD and sending the file to you as a PDF. I need to know the material thickness you plan to use in order to create the drawing.

I received a lot of help from the contributors on this forum and want to contribute when I can. Send me an email if you want to take me up on my offer.
Good luck,
Jim

The drawings are on Ted Robinson's site. A friend of mine and I built a couple of pair of the Dayton 8's. We love them. They were out first project also.

By the way, Ted Robinson's site doesn't work too well in FireFox. I can view it fine in Internet Explorer though.

Wow thank you guys so much I didn't know diagrams for this project existed. Now I can start the project with more confidence. Everyone on the board seems to be very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the welcome and help. I will probably ask more questions as I start the project. The only thing holding me back now is that the tweeters are out of stock.

Do you find that they handle enough power without bottoming out? Any reason why you didn't use the series II dayton 8" aside from the cost factor? I never see to projects on here with the series II speakers aside from the angel fires in the project showcase.
