Oh man what a day! Springboro should be hoppin' something fierce in less than 12 hours. A small group of us dropped off our treasures tonight at the Hampton Inn and did some loose listening to most of the projects that we had brought along. I'm just flat-out stoked to be part of it.
Jim Griffin's room is starting to sound pretty sweet so it is a must-visit. Jim, Paul K and myself had a good time setting things up. Two really great guys in my book. Two really great guys with some really great sounding speakers. Wow. Lemme say that again. WOW! Paul's stuff is a double whammy. Looks great and sounds even better. A pretty darn novel design that is very eye and ear catching.
Wolf brought his arsenal of stuff and I have to say his Tang Band DCR-aligned full rangers are amazing. ChrisM and his wonderful wife/budget controller were there as well. I have to build me a pair of Cryolites now certainly. Chris's towers were also something to behold. Very full sounding.
Darren has been a busy, busy boy lately. He has a project that is just imposing to look at. Tomorrow we will hear them and what he and Chris Bartholomew can come up with on the DCX2496. I can hardly wait.
I ran my HT1's briefly and I gotta say, I like what I'm hearing so far. I want a lot of ears to hear them so tomorrow will be interesting.
Enough for now. I gotta get some shut-eye. Revillie is coming early tomorrow morning and I'm no morning person. I just wanted to share my day before Dayton DIY with everyone. Wish everyone was here for it.

Glad it's coming along well! I got home from work at 10:15 and just now finished packing the stuff to bring. My laptop was giving me crap for about an hour and I decided just to bring my tower! Hopefully I'll make it there by 8am so I can get stuff set up without a problem. Although, working off 7 hours of sleep the last two nights, I hope I even wake up =P

It was good meeting you Shawn and I enjoyed our time together with Jim. Mucho thanks for the compliments, too, on my speakers.
