Anyone use the metal bar grills that PE sells, specifically the 12" chrome one? I'm thinking about using one on the sub in my room, and I wanted to get opinions from anyone whose used them. My sub has never had a grill on it, and it always looked unfinished. Any opinions?

I've used the black ones on car subs. I think they add just the right touch of "finished," drawing less attention than the chrome. The nice thing is that they'll fit over a non-flush-mounted driver that has a large rubber rim gasket or whose surround bumps out beyond the face (the waffle style grills won't fit over those).
Two other things to consider: (1) the protection the bar grills offer is only moderate, and (2) you have to assemble them, and they can tend to "parallelagram," so that the bars remain parallel but the C-shaped sections can shift from being square with the whole setup. You have to watch that your final setup is concentric to the driver rim.
