Looks I'll be joining the ranks of those Home Theater enthusiasts with my very own KLH R5100 Receiver!!!

500W Baby!

Of course, it doesn't work. But for $20 and maybe $5 in parts it will last forever in my house. The best part about these receivers is they have ZERO resale value because almost every one of them do not work after less than a year. I LOVE IT!

Truthfully, though, I just want the DD input and preamp outputs. It may not even have preamp outputs, but I'll FORCE it to have them. Heh.

I've had mine for four years and have run a NO NO 4ohm load to them, and never one problem. It never gets real hot and will run all day long like that.

At least you'll actually HAVE a HT.... I have no space or a properly functioning TV for one :(

The truth is, the WonderBreads have been silently residing in the bedroom. The current Panasonic HTIB will go there and the KLH will handle the HT.

I'm glad to get this because I plan to mod it a little bit. Just a little. ;)

Can you let us in on the expectations?
