Shielding necessary for DLP

I'm embarrassed to have to ask, but are shielded speakers necessary for placement next to a DLP TV? I'm building a set of towers for a friend and don't want to make big purple or green spots on his nice new Samsung DLP :)

No sheilding necessary. The method of producing the image des not rely on a magnetic component for aligning the image.
