has any one stopped once thet got started?

is there hope

or

only dispair hoping for the next super buy deal

my wife feels that I spend more time making

speaker than making her

will i end up in divorce court?

I did stop for about 18 months but than I

she will not let me get AC for the garage ( Live in Tucson

If I don't stop I may be sleeping in the garage

If you make the doctors think that your problem is worse, they'll give you better meds, then youy can sell them to a bunch of tweakers, to fund your "problem" :) lol. No there is no hope, This board is a much a AA for speakerbuilders as it is a help board. "hello, I'm Nick and I'm a speakerbuilder, Hi nick" lol

Speakers are cheaper than bars, gentlemen's clubs, etc. And when you're finished, you have a speaker, not an STD.

However, the occasional display of affection (flowers, dinner out, etc.) would be helpful. Definitely cheaper than lawyers!

My wife asked me yesterday if I can help her with HER speaker project next weekend. Yes, she actually is building a set of speakers. She has been planning these for quite a while.

Mine bought me a new table saw for my bday, 12" drill press for Christmas, and told all my relatives what tools I was in need of, resulting in a new Bosch router, Jasper jig, and jigsaw. Now I really need a dust collection system, a 1 gallon / 1HP shopvac REALLY doesn't keep up with all that MDF dust. That and a set of nice router bits, yeah...that'll do...

Oh, it REALLY helps to buy them flowers at least every other month, it's a cheap way to keep a happy marriage - especially if you take the time to find out what their favorite flowers are and get those. For mine, stick with lillies or roses and I'm golden.

Cool... My wife is a purple fan as well. Built her a pair of small 3" full rangers, in some nice looking Baltic Birch ply. She insisted on purple.
Cringing, I complied... and they didn't look half bad!

It was General Finishes "Deep Purple" from their "Kids Colors" line of stains.. got it at a Rockler's. Water based, worked very well on the light birch. Might be just the thing for you...

She also got me a HVLP setup, and a brad nailer for Xmas... and got under the Alfa I/we were restoring a couple of years ago... guess I'm one of the luckier ones too!
