I had the good fortune to spend the weekend on a friend's boat, but noticed that his cabin speakers seemed thin had bad off-axis sound.

I pulled the screens and found the surrounds cracked or loose. These are Pioneer TS-MR165 6.5" marine coaxials. They have polypropolene cone and dense plastic frames. I am assuming that the surrounds were originally butyl rubber. Any suggestions on a good kit for repair?

Thanks, in advance.

you could try speakerbits.com, but for the price, i would just get some new speakers. Those pio's aren't that expensive, by the time you get the repair kits and put the time in, 6 of one, half doz. of the other?
