This may be the wrong forum, but I'm hoping someone here may have info on this subject.
Our church would like to purchase a CD duplicator. I've decided on a 5 or 7 target tower but am uncertain what minimum requirements I should have. I do want to be able to extract tracks from one or more CDs and compile on one disc without going to a computer.
I don't anticipate a need for a DVD duplicator, but recently have noticed some DVD/CD duplicators for just a few $ more than a CD only machine (sometimes even less than a higher end CD Duplicator). Anyone have any suggestions why I might regret not going with the DVD capability? Is the CD duplicating equipment more stable/reliable than the DVD equipment?
Also, is any brand of burner drive better than another? I'd prefer to spend $500--$800 for a tower duplicator.
