I'm having a crappy day and that's just wrong. It's Friday!!! To top it off I still had to come into work and fight the foolish designers of the world and rectify their misdeeds. Fun fun fun to the Nth degree.

No better way to shake the blues (and the walls for that matter) than cranking up the tunes, I say. So as I am a person of zero consequence I declare this day Crank It Up Friday. Let the Barrys (for you Mat G) of the world shake in their boots because today we go to eleven!

/Funny. My boss doesn't agree with me but he did say it sounded pretty good.
//Told me to crank it up after the brass has left for the day. Gotta love it.

yes, It may be friday. But it's the end of my week long holiday. But that's all right, i've been a busy little bee out in the yard making masses of dust and noise. Center channel will be getting the baffle attached today, As well as some last minute routing and sanding. then in a few hours i'll have the spray gun out putting a few coats of poly.

than all the happiness will end tomorrow morning. when i go back to work with the three stoodges.

i have had The Crystal Method blasting in the shop for hours today! i even got my sub plate to thermally shut down, twice! On the positive side, i did get the dust off of the rafters that i can't reach with the blow-gun. Not even sure if capt ELO was there or not, wouldn't have heard him if he was.

All of this was in celebration of a P.I.T.A. job finally being accepted by the equally P.I.T.A. customer and getting to watch a delivery truck take away 38 more doors that had to get painted at the last minuit because somebody else goofed up, their mistake, my emergency? at least he pays quickly!

hope your day gets brighter and the beers go down cold and easy, after you get to your destination of course.

or Saturday, or whatever. That's one of the best things about being retired; you don't have to follow a rigid schedule or have any responsibility other than to yourself and your spouse (if you have a spouse). I intend to "crank it up" shortly, but it will probably be a symphony or piano concerto or something along those lines that tickles my fancy.

Paul,

Just want to let you know that Pike and I got together last week, and we cranked it up in this order:

1. Nothing else matters (Metallica)
2. Hurricane (Scorpions)
3. Stranglehold (Ted Nugent)

etc, etc... for a couple hours. It was great.

1. Nothing else matters (Metallica)
2. Hurricane (Scorpions)
3. Stranglehold (Ted Nugent)

Seeing this makes me think I should definitely find time to visit you on one of my trips...

I have a variety playing at the moment:
Fuel, Foghat, Nickelback, AC/DC, Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Van Halen, Skynyrd, and Sammy Hagar. (I just like Mas Tequila what can i say?!!?!)

I think I'll add the Nug to the queue and maybe a little Godsmack.

The wife and kids are camping...somebody's gotta work for a living. Guess that's me!

Happy Days

Metal-Industrial!!!!! This is off the "Metamorphosis" various album on REX Records (RIP). Nothing demonic or anything, just a REALLY HEAVY and DARK version of the same song. I just love (Klay[Scott)Albert]'s (ie:AKA's) work:
Brainchild- "Mindwarp"
Circle of Dust- "Self-title '91", "Brainchild", "Self-title '95", "Disengage".
Argyle Park- "Misguided"
Celldweller- self-title, "beta cessions"

As I post this, Klank's "Animosity" is playing. That's mixed by Klay too!

Hong, I'm a bit far away for a reunion, but I'll be there in spirit! If I did come by, I'd bring Scorpions-Tokyo Tapes, Riot-Fire Down Under, Judas Priest-Sad Wings Of Destiny, AC/DC-High Voltage (Soul Stripper), Accept-Russian Roulette, Queensryche-Queensryche (4 song EP)...just off the top of my head...I guess that would require a whole weekend! I did do "crank it up Friday" here, but found this thread on Sunday! You guys are the greatest!
