What advantages will I get with two DAYTON SD315-88 12" sub vs. one DAYTON RSS315HO-4 12". I know that the two will take up twice the real estate. But are there any advantages?

I forgot to add that the two drivers will be in separate enclosures.

There's always an advantage to having two lesser subs vs one better sub.

Subs are subject to room modes, and the worst possible scenario is a single sub. While you can optimally place the single sub for better response, being able to have two subs at assymetrical room positions will mitigate room modes even better.

Now, give me two RSS315 and you're in business!!!
