I just want to get a better idea of what's out there. Right now I'm thinking about doing DR. K's from the front stage and Modula MTs for the surrounds, but I'd like to look at as many designs as possible before making a selection.

Check out RJB's stuff on some of the popular RS180 designs here:

If your going to build the Modula MT's for surround's, you should build the Nat P's for mains as I think that they will have closer matching sounds. Plus the Nat P's will probably sound better, just my opinion.
Good luck

Not just your opinion, it is mine as well.
The Dr K's made a LOT of compromises.
Center channel will be a tough call, neither Dr K or Nat P really are suited to a horizontal setup. Another Modula MT would work but you'd have significant power handling difference compared to the mains, and the center is pretty important.
One of the WTMW with RS180 as woofs, RS52 as mid and whatever tweeter may be a perfect CC (there's one or so going over at HTGuide)

Actually, I plan on having my center channel vertically mounted behind an acoustically transparent screen, so that wouldn't be an issue. Although I am certainly open to using three WTMW RS180/RS52/RS28 (or whatever) across the front soundstage.
I'll have to troll around HTGuide and see what I see.

I didn't even realize there was an MT AND MTM version of the Modula. Thank you, JonMarsh!

you're welcome- variety is the spice of life- but as CJD notes, the crossover topology of the Modula MT and the Natalie P are the most similar. However, any of them work fairly well together because there aren't any inverted phase drivers, and room power response is pretty similar.

Thanks for the comment Jon, I actually was wondering why cjd mentioned the Natalie P's instead of the Modula MTMs. I've been around here long enough to know there was probably a good reason for it.
While I have your attention ;) ...Would you happen to know if there are Xovers without BSC floating around out there for the Modula MTM's or the Natalie P's?

Oh. So you want the project I'm working on. :P
heh.
Nah, Nat P is a superb setup. Vertically mounted center is THE way to go, any horizontal setup is a compromise to try to fit around a non-AT setup (whether glass box or not).
Modula MTM is pretty picky on the tweeter and for HT use in particular I think the benefits are going to be minimal.
Of course, if you want 3-ways for the front you could peek at the RS 3-way thread over there (started by Brian Bunge) where we used the RS180/RS28A MTM as the mids/tweet above a pair of RS270's. ;)

Looks like Nat P it is then...and don't try to tempt me with behemoth, beautiful, RS270 3-ways...that's just mean. ;)~
