I need a high quality tweeter with a smallish face and also want to cross over fairly low. The Morel MDT40 or MDT44 look promising, but I have not seen any projects with them in cyber space.

Does anyone have experience with them, or other high end tweeter with small faceplate?
There are lots of smaller tweeters from car audio but they don't seem very capable to me.

Thanks!

Don't cross them low. They need about 3KHz to work right. I used the MDT40's in a couple of designs, and while they're fairly nice sounding, they really are designed with higher XO points in mind.

If you want a small faceplate tweeter that can get maybe as low as 2KHz, then go with the Vifa D25NC55 or the SEAS 27TAFNCD. Both can be seen on Zaphs test pages.

Thanks I appreciate the advice.
I also see that Seas has a nice looking high end car Audio Tweeter. I Attached the link.
Wish PE carried Seas.
