Hello, i want to make a good choice on a portable, very tough, small and ok sounding speaker/stereo pair. I want it to be very compact so that i can just slip it into my backpack. i want high sensitivity since i'll be powering it only with the T-Amp.
So far my choice is the Bose 151 SE. but its terribly expensive. is there any other small and very rugged speaker out there?
i checked the 161 but its built for in-home use and not for bathroom use haha
im planning to use one speaker for the bathroom... imaging and soundstage is not at all necessary.

That's hardly tiny. Still, you want outdoor, high sensitivity, AND small as possible.

These would be my choice for small outdoor speaks.

The better ones are bigger. The A650s are a great deal. But none of these speakers will sound very good outside driven with the T-Amp. Except for soft background music. That includes the Bose. I use the T-Amp in a small office with a pair of 87dB sensitive Fostex wide rangers, and I top the system out routinely. The T Amp works best with two 8 ohm drivers per channel, in parallel.
