Several years ago I bought (3) 3' neon tubes from PE. This was a buyout and they did not have transformers/power connections. I think I also remember the ad saying something about being able to easly adapt/build a transformer/add power/whatever. The package says:

Neo Tec
4 channel chasing neon
110V

On each end of the tube there is what appears to be Molex(ish) style plug w/ 5 conductors. Ideally I would like these to stay on contunuously and have an adjustable brightness.

On a side note, I am looking at these right now. Is it possible that a transformer could be located in the end of the the tube and all I would have to do would be to connect to 110AC (hence the 110V spec). Each end is covered by a roughly 2.5" X 1" diameter endcap that the wires also come out of.

Thanks,
Aaron

I had some black light tubes that sound similar to what you're describing, there was a small end cap that you would just connect to 110VAC directly. Might work for your tubes as well, but BE CAREFUL if you're not sure.
