Hi - I love to collect photos of speaker projects, use them for inspiration for my own projects, already have quite a few I got from the PE website, but I feel like I might not have seen the best. Can I ask you guys with pictures of your finest projects, willing and able to post the pictures on the forum, to please do so - will really appreciate it.

Stefan, in case you haven't seen the speakerlust site, you may appreciate some of the artistic designs.

I didn't know they had Beryllium drivers. There's a link from the above link to Usher's page.

Stefan, here's a link to my host site...just some of the recent ones. I'll be adding more of my earlier projects once I get a scanner to digitize the 35mm photos I have. Feel free to take any you want...

IIRC, he's from Israel so they may have a production that we have no access too. Maybe?

Thanks Pete - I actually had quite a few of yours already - one that really stood out for me was the "Stentorian", could you tell me about it some more - looks interesting.

Adire DPL-12 subs in 4.5 cubic feet tuned to 17Hz. F3 is around 15Hz or so. Powered by 150W amps. The input to the amps is the sub out signal of the HT receiver. The MTM section is a couple of Peerless 7" CSX 4-Ohm woofers, crossed at 2500Hz, LR4, to a Dynaudio D21-2. The MTM section is driven by the HT amp in small speaker mode, crossed at 80Hz. This provides LR4 to the sub.

The DPL12 is downfiring as are the dual vents. The enclosure is 8" wide in front, ~22" wide in back, ~22" deep, and 49" tall. The MTM section is sealed off from the main enclosure and stuffed. Very heavily braced, very heavy, very dead enclosure. I'd say about 110 pounds, at least. They produce lows that are more a sensation than a sound. And the Peerless woofers make for some excellent midranges when they don't have to handle that low bass. Those were my second full-range system. The Peerless 10" 3-way had F3 in the lower 20's, but nowhere near the authority the Stentorian's offered.

I may be doing something similar before too long, but with better drivers, like the RSS390 for the low end.
