Well after a harrowing 63hrs of labor. My most wonderful wife in the world. Gave birth to our 7lb-10.4oz, 20.5" daughter. All I can say is my daughter is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. When I looked into her eyes I saw the face of God. From that instant her pain was my pain and her joy was my joy. I am the happiest and most tired I have ever been.
I'm going to sleep. . .

Congratulations!!

Given the long labor, it seems like this is your first child. Yes, it's an amazing experience!!

I sincerely hope your posts in this forum will become less frequent as your fathering duties become a greater priority. Being a father is much more important than DIY hifi. Your wife and child need you.

I certainly built more speakers before our 3 boys were born. Occasionally I consider this and become frustrated. Most often I consider this and am pervasively pleased with my decisions. My boys are wonderful and their development is a treasure.

Oh, I have noticed that mothers often boast of their childbirth experiences. Those 63 hours of labor are "bragging rights" for most mother's. In the future her experience will be a banner of pride.

Thanks Bob!
As much as I want to shout her name from the mountain tops, I think its best that I keep her name off the internet, at least until she gets a "myspace" page behind my back. I'll bring pics to next years tent sale though.

Yippy Yay, Adrian! Congrats!

Well, that makes sense, since the Kingdom belongs to "such as these."

After a short nap, be sure to count fingers and toes :)

Dave,
Very well said and I couldn't agree more. Having been a father most of my life, I have to admit that just once in a while I envy the single guys, then I wake up, surrounded by people who truely love me and realize it was merely a nightmare.
It's the best and most important job a man can have in the world!
Congratulations to our new Father!!!
Best Regards,
TerryO

Enjoy the baby and spoil the mother -- both will pay off big time in long run!

(father of two boys, both now bigger than I am and more stubborn than their mother. ;) )

OK, that's a little weird.

Nobody knows your last name, man...

I thought that too, but I remembered that I had used my lat name her before. Also, I've already had on brush with identity theft already. I thought I was being smart about it, even.
