This is the 2nd gen of the 3CR cabs. Thus far I know I'll need BSC and a notch. The treble knob is tweaked down a smidge, and the bass is up a smidge, and it balances out about right. I'll be calculating up components for this. The bass is not bloated or tubby. It's extended as it should be, but a little shy on level. Mids are indeed very respectable. Much better than the first-driver rendition. I'll retain the switchable filter in the design so a w/wo can be listened to. I'm glad I upgraded! There are about 5-6 TB drivers that can all be used in this box.
Enjoy the pic...

Looks bueno.

That's the 4" right?

The 3"s I nabbed are numbers #1, #2 (Matched pair! :) ) of these....... http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1230_04/w3-1319sa.htm

Bamboo cone, solid phase plug, good FR.

I'll see what I'll do... I think I'll make them to go with the Mac as computer speaks, running full range with a passivle/active sub using some S8P (Hi-Vi) that I picked up last year. To jog the memory: Soft trated foam surround, stamped basket, soft dustcap, poly cone, 3.5? mm xmax, way too many logos..

I'm telling ya, you'll want a tweeter. ND16 will be fine.
