The Sonic T-Amp is a basic 5-6 watt amplifier(unless you want double digit THD pushing it to 10 watts @ 8 ohms). I do not see how it makes sense to spend twice the value of this amplifier in 'tweaks'. Perhaps the only [1]modification worth doing costs just a couple of dollar: replace the input capacitors with larger values, to help flatten out the LF response.

For the $85-100 total investment, I think you'll be better just buying a bigger/better amp.

Why did you reply to my post? My suggestion costs about $2(replace the input capacitors with larger values).

The Sonic Impact issue AC adapter is discontinued. Which PE buyout AC adapter to you recommend to replace it?

I know they have another one they're offering, but can't find it on-line. Call the toll-free number and talk to one of the tech-support folks. They should have the recommended replacement with a high enough amp rating.

Here is PE's response:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing Parts Express. The 320-140 seems to be the popular choice for this application. If you have further questions or there is anything else I can do to assist you please let me know.
