Hi,

The specs for the Low Rider Peavey 18 says a high pass 24db Butterworth filter at a minimum of 25 Hz is needed. I am unfamiliar with active crossover networks, so I am unsure what this means. I would just like to know if there are any decent inexspensive crossover networks that are available for purchase that meet the required specs. to filter the subwoofer.

Thanks,
Kevin

First things first, if you don't know what this means you need to learn, so before investing any more $ in gear invest in this:

A HP filter protects your sub from overexcursion, and they generally aren't found on inexpensive crossovers, so be very sure there's one in there before you buy.

The Beheringer FBQ3102 (I think...) has a crossover and sub out function that ain't that shabby... Plus you get the EQ thrown in... Check the prices.
