Deal- won a cool ppowered Thunderform MTX sub off EBay for my wifes Durango. Excellent price.
Problem- The speaker is blown but the amp works great.
Fixes- Should I replace with the same speaker or try amother one? I looked at the Quatro and it seems like a good fit. Enclosure is .7cf with a 2.5 port about 12 0r 13 inches long. Prety darn close to the Quatro specs.
Not sure.
Any advice from the qualified......
Thanks.

If you're talking a 12" Quatro, you'd be better off closing off the port and stuffing the box with glass. This would drop the "bump" @ 100 Hz down by a couple dB. This box is not really large enough to let the Q12 work all that well.

Not the 12, but the 8

Almost as perfect a retrofit match as you can get! It should break 40 Hz "in room". "In cab" (with gain), even better!
I never cared for the Q10, it just doesn't model as reaching very low for a 10", but I've been running the Q12 in 3 vented cf for a few years now, and love it (HT as well as music).

Anyone out there have a 8" Quatro that they want to part with?
Anyone, Anyone........
