Subwoofer hum

Chris,

I tried your idea. I went to Home Depot and paid $.69 apiece for 2 adapters that accepted 3 prongs but only had 2 prongs on the other side. I plugged them in. No hum! Problem solved! This simple solution works perfectly!

I KNOW that this isn't the best way to solve this problem, but it usually works. PE's 25w sub amp doesn't even have a 3 prong plug. Would I do it with a pair of 500w or 1000w amps? Not sure. I definately wouldn't do it in a pro sound install somewhere, but then I probably wouldn't be having to pay the bill either.
