I am interested in building my own crossovers, but i am confused on some spacific points of design. I would like to know how to build a 3500Hz two way, with 24dB slopes. I also would like to add a Zobel network.

My first questions is, how do you calculate the cap. and ind. values for the higher slopes?

The other question is, can a Zobel network be a seperate part, or can it be integrated with the other components?

I also dont know what parts are used in a Zobel or how to calculate them?

What would you think about buying "Speakerbuilding 201" and giving it a read? I think there's a lot more to this than you realize. Typically, 4th order slopes aren't electrical crossover slopes, they're the resultant acoustic crossover slopes that you end up with after you combine the driver's natural rolloff with (probably) a 2nd or 3rd order electrical "transfer function".

Do you know how to use T/S parms to design a proper box?
