I haven't really found many good pics of the PE cabinets (and the catalog pics on w/ no background don't help much)...maybe you guys can post some pics of your cabinets?

Here's a pic of the PE .5 cubic foot enclosure from Zaph's site...

Looks really nice.

I have used various sizes. 2-ways in the gloss black .75 ft3 cabinet:

MTM's in the .75 ft3 cabinet, maple:

My unsuccessful attempt at doing my own XO with this Vifa/Morel 2-way, in the .5 ft3 cherry cabinets:

And the gloss black .38 ft3 with Vifa PL drivers:

The quality, construction and finish of the cabinets is outstanding. I've seen many expensive commercial speakers that didn't have enclosures nearly as well-built or finished.

Hmm/ those don't look half bad.
I have a MKIII sub kit from PE- the fit/finish on that thing was less than amazing. It looks like these are definite step up.

Here's one of the PE cabinets, along with the drivers I used in it. The grill isn't dark purple - the camera I took this with is a bit too sensitive to infrared light :).

Now that's a nice looking speaker. What port is that and do you have any tips on how to do it? I have a pair of speaks that are crying for ports but I'm a bit shy of cutting into the cabs without knowing for sure which way is best.
Beautiful job.

Me like-y those curved cabs.

Do you guys know how well those edges hold up?
They look pretty sharp.

Pretty straight forward process. I used the 2" powerport but with the inside flare used as the outside. This just barely fits. Tape the back with blue painter's tape to prevent scratches, then use the Jasper jig to route the hole just as if it's a driver.
