Hi -
I have a pair of B&W DM 110's with blown woofers. :( This is a 10" 2 way design. The woofers have die cast frames that are truncated to fit a narrow box. I pulled the speakers out of the enclosures to test them separately to verify the problem wasn't with wiring or with the xover. B&W says they don't offer these anymore, and Orange Country Speaker Repair doesn't fix them. it doesn't look like too hard a job - the voice coils still move freely in the frame, and there's no visual evidence (or smell) of overheating -- but I dont know how to do it. The spider would have to be unglued and reglued, for one thing.
Any suggestions how I can get these fixed, or find replacements? Or are they even worth fixing (it's a 20 year old speaker, at least.)
