Think of how many you'd sell as surrounds to all the "Tritrix mains and center" folks out there... like me, for instance :)
Maybe work out some sort of deal with Curt C?

I second that idea! We have a few tried and true diy designs on here that PE could discuss with builders as kits.

Has PE ever taken an independently-created DIY design and produced a kit from it (don't count the designs Darren K did while he was in their employ)? I suspect there are commercial and legal reasons why they don't go there.

Well they practically sell many independently-created kits already... other than they don't solder up the x-overs or machine the baffles...
I'm just suggesting that they go one step further with the Tritrix-MT... just include .25 cu ft cabinets with machined baffles and you're there.
The crossovers are so simple that they could probably skip the pre-made x-overs... just include the components and wiring instructions.
Or at least add it to the project showcase, with the easy button order. That's about the same thing, unless you're looking for a discounted package price.

Drivers, crossover components, binding posts, foam, and .25 cu ft cabinets with the baffles already machined...
Like the BR-1 kit, but skip the pre-made crossovers to save money.

discounted package price would be nice. i mean, if you are willing to purchase all the parts, why not throw a 10% discount and the consumer??? Helps keep the consumer here rather than searching other places to get the parts to save a few bucks. Especially now, everybody is trying to save that extra penny!

I hereby volunteer to provide PE with free CAD work (for machining the .25 cu ft enclosure baffles) if they will do this as a kit.

madisound does this with their kits.
