Did you purchase this woofer with that Intention?

no. I purchased the 8pw3 as a replacement for bookshelf speakers. I do not like the sound of the bookshelves. I think the existing crossover do not match my drivers. I want to rebuild the bookshelves and use them as studio monitors.I do not know how to calculate the math for a new crossover,tweeters and cabinet size. I hope this helps. Thank you. Lennox

if this is what you have it is not for bookcase speakers or moniters. It is for guitar cabinets. It will not do what you want.

your speaker has a qts of .81 that means a huge box or an open baffle is best.
