I need to split a mixer output to a tape recorder, CD recorder, a hearing assist transmitter, and an amplifier. I would prefer to have the ability to adjust the levels sent to each device, if possible. If not, adjusting the respective input levels may work, too.

What type of device is needed to do this?

Thanks,
Marvin

A line level mixer, one with as many outputs as required. Such as

I'll throw this out only because I don't know what kind of mixer you are using.

If it's like any number of small mixers produced, such as Behringer's stuff or say a Mackie DFX or similar, then I'd just use the main balanced outputs to drive the amp, use the "Tape Out" unbalanced connections to drive the cassette and CD recorder through a passive Y splitter cable for each channel, and use one of the aux send busses to send a signal to the hearing assisted transmitter . .

I'm using a Mackie SR24.4 VLZ PRO mixer.

I prefer not to use multiple mixer buses or outputs since that adds to the knobs that need to be adjusted for each mic channel. All the devices listed above need the same signal that I presently send from a single auxiliary bus, they simply need different levels.

Currently the signal is split four ways via Y cables, which is getting the job done, but the Getner hearing assist transmitter could use a higher level. I have been led to understand that splitting the signal too many times is not good.

Thanks for any further suggestions.
