This time to Boston, Mass.

So, the question comes up again, any of the brethren in the Boston area, that I might be able to get together with while I'm there?

I'll be going in a couple of days, and staying for a month...

Let me know!:)

I'm down in CT; bit of a drive from Boston though, probably 1-1/2 hours in the car.

An hour and a half shouldn't be any issue on an off day, I'd like to get down there, see some of the New England area, and we can hang out and listen to music!

Looking forward to it!

I'm jealous you get to meet the 'wimpy-metal svede' AJ!

BTW- AJ- I bought Nightwish double-set 'Dark Passion Play'...

Have fun, Mark!

I have "Once" by Nightwish. Good album but I haven't heard much of their other stuff. How is it, Wolf?

Not much to see but woods and snow this time of year in my area Mark but if that sounds interesting I'll PM you my number. Hope you have a good flight!

AJ-
The one I bought is their latest and is with Annette, not Tarja. Tarja got the heave-ho, and the new chick is not bad either. I haven't heard the older stuff to compare. The cd I bought has 2 discs, one with words and orchestra, and the other without words. Just 'incredible' is all I can say.

Mark-
-you 2 have fun up there, and don't let the arms collect ice or get tired on the way. Be sure to check-in here over the next month....
Later,

Which, Mark, shall always be pronounced "Woustah". The "ou" is pronounced as in "would." ;)

And if you're ever in Medford, I know of a great little deli.

I don't know what you do, Mark, but if you ever end up in WI, let me know. :D

As to Nightwish, my wife is a huge fan and we've got all of them that we've been able to find in the US. My wife prefers the older Tarja stuff. Me, I'm no fan of her weighty, operatic, alto. It just seems at odds with the music. The new soprano has better range, though she's a little nasal at times. The best part is the lead guitarist. He's got a GREAT metal voice. Kind of growly, but still has that POWER METAL vibrato.
