Pyramid PB440X Super Blue 2x35W Amplifier manual
I did see this once online, I forget what the amperage draw of the amplifier is though.
I got the adobe downloads, but what I need is to know is the current draw, so that I can begin to design/build the PS.

That information should be contained in the manual. Either that or look on the amplifier. Isn't there some information printed on the amplifier?
What is the amperage of the fuse in the amplifier?

I disagree, the information should be contained in my head.
Either that or look on the amplifier.
You can bet I will, first chance I get.
Isn't there some information printed on the amplifier?
I would guess so, anything with a power cord does these days IIRC.
What is the amperage of the fuse in the amplifier?
I'll check that out as soon as the amp arrives.
As I said, I have the recommended adobe downloads, but need to build a power supply rated for the current needs, If I could download the manual or specs I would surely have done so.
What is the current draw of the amp? ... the missing number.
Oh yea, spent time elsewhere online.

Contact the manufacturer, I'm sure that they will be glad to help you.

They have a phone number and email address.

pete, you might get more help if you didn't respond like a smarta**.

If you build for ten amps, you should be more than covered. I would personally be somewhat surprised if that amp is fused higher than ten or fifteen amps.

Thanks Johnnyrichards, that basically covers it.
I think I saw 5a and 10a @ 4ohm or 8ohm respectively, after reading so many sheets they kind of start to run together.
I kinda figured somebody'd just know, after I went looking and found the specifications link, downloaded the 9.3 version etc., any way around a brick wall is fine, I didn't realize I was treading on thin ice, asking a simple question, extenuating circumstances aside.

That's interesting, perhaps you'd like to explain yourself, I don't get it.

The information you requested is available at the manufacturers website.

On page 8 of the manual it states maximum current draw for your amplifier, 5 Amps.
