Should I use spikes for my left and right sealed TriTrix speakers? The floor is carpeted concrete. I will be using a sub so I will not be sending a signal below 80 to the TriTrix. In other words is coupliing to the floor just for bass or does it have another purpose?

Carpets are the best reason to use spikes.

I'd say definitely. It will ensure that the speakers are solidly planted on the floor.

I'm a fan of the cheapo PE spikes. They work very well.

I've never measured any difference between cabs with and without spikes, either subs or mains. It might make a difference with a flimsy floor and/or cab, but not having either of those I can't say.

Spikes can help a tall thin not overly heavy design sit level vs tipping around on the carpet. Thats the main reason I like them for speaker stands and tall skinny speakers.

Speaking of budget spikes, I think someone in this forum mentioned using arrow points for spikes. I tried a search but didn't find anything.
My wife didn't seem to be too "keen" on spikes when I mentioned it so I may have to lean toward rubber feet. Since I will be on direct glue carpet stability probably won't be an issue.
