Many of you know that I've only recently taken up this modeling thing, having voiced everything until recently by ear. My DIY Iowa 2008 speaks, the TzuJans were inspired by Bob Cordell's all Morel M3 speaks, but have Vifa D26NC55 on top, Morel MDM55 mid, and AC130F1 woofers.
They were, of course, voiced by ear and well received. At DIY 2008, Dennis Jarchow was kind enough to measure speakers and send us the frd files.
Well, enter PCD, and what better thing to do than model what already works? I traced the AC130 and D26 files from Zaph's site, and the MDM55 from the Morel PDF - perhaps not the most accurate. Ran them through Response Modeler. I used WT3 for ZMA files.
Here is the modeled response with the component values as built and heard at Iowa, along with an overlay of Dennis' measurements - which are down ~12db.

Not wildly, insanely different and there are plenty enough variables for slippage, both in the files used for modeling and the measurement environment at Iowa.
