One of the better albums of the 90's, IMHO :)

Agreed, I was in high school in the 90's and really first started listening to music around that time. I'd have a hard time calling that the best album of the decade, but it's certainly in the top 50% of the best albums of the decade.

I will agree with that. It is sad they never went very far. In a way they were to progressive in a time where grunge and hip-hop were making their foothold. It is almost as if they were just nor mainstream enough. Sad.

Good album, very much a poster child for the loudness wars, unfortunately.

True dat. I think they were kind of responsible for making compressed music mainstream :(. Too bad, they had talent dripping from everywhere.

Too many brothery fisticuffs hampering their career. They could have at least pulled a Pink Floyd and got stinking rich before savaging each other.
Could be worse, they could have been the Dandy Warhols (another great band from the era, but one that just implodeded before going anywhere).

True to my form it seems-- I HATED them when they were popular, but NOW I love the singles and have that disc on my list to acquire!

"Wuthering Heights"-- The voice, and the celeste, from the HEAVENS (unless you're Heathcliff)!
