Hey folks, my current builds (the ones that have survived).

Will probably build a pair of Tritrix for my home office next. The combo price is too good to turn down.

After that on the list is an Audiokarma Econowave scratch build of an Altec Model 15.

First up: a pair of Realistic Mach 1's converted to Ewave. I love these guys.

Then a pair of AN 10s. I usually finish the wood or veneer. These were test cabs that I decided to faux finish after staring at bare plywood for awhile. I want to like these but have concluded for myself that the AN's aren't worth the money. Specs are way off so hard to model cabs and the AN design isn't quite right either. Very easy to overdrive even on moderate volume classical.

Still nice looking projects:)!! Agree with you on the AN's personally! I built a set of 8"AN's for a gent and found them really not to my liking/See "More Posts In Vinyl" here!. (He says they are ok running off a tube amp!) Ran several of these drivers through Bass Box and cab. dimensions are pretty much in line with what the seller sells for cabinets/BIG!!:(

Thats' a 2.3 cu ft cab as is. One thing is that the AN creator is adamant that you shouldn't use a port tube. My use of the various box modeler's typically show a longer tube as the port size increases.

The recommended design for the AN10 has a 6" port w/ 0 (i.e. 3/4 inch) length.

The faux finish hides a lot of sins. I built those as a temporary cab. As such, they're **** jointed and screwed together. I didn't even bother to counter sink the screws. Do kind of like the textured look and it wasn't too hard to apply if you follow the directions. Expensive paint (only in gallons, and is two or three part).

I think I'm going to completely reveneer the EWaves.

I've heard the creator gets really upset about use of ports from others! But bass box seems to dispute that abit after messing around with them abit!
