Because of my budget constraints I may have to rely on my 15" drivers for midrange on my band's PA. I am bi-amping to an 18" sub so no worries about sub fequency loss.

However 15's are notorious for awful mid beaming and was wondering if anyone has used these http://www.webervst.com/blocker.html especially in a situation like mine. If you did I'd appreciate any feedback on these things, if they work etc..........

Thanks a million in advance,
brett

brettThey do work, but they are no substitute for a midrange driver. And if you have subs there's no justification for having fifteen loaded tops, nor for the size and weight of the cabs required to house them.

That's a dustcap and a piece of metal? For $15-23? You can probably DIY that bad boy :)

Why not use 10's or 12's instead? You have an 18" sub, so I don't get why using 15's is so important.
