Well FedEx dropped of some goodies for me from PE, Thank you PE for the semi decent packing job. FedEx, well at least you did not run over the box with a semi, but still amazed that a square box can end up round when you are done.

PE thanks for your concern on the phone call I made to you about the semi-decent packing job, but it looks like everything is ok, all the drivers make noise. Just a couple very, very slight bent frames on the stamped drivers, and fortunately no scratches on the tweeter face-plates after being taped together face to face with just plastic to protect them.

I am not putting PE down for any of this, they are a great company, and truely have one of the best customer service I have ever come across.

So what was in the box, nothing really exciting (exciting for me :D ). Buyouts for Lou's LESBOS, I mean LECBOS. I am going to give them a shot in the Living room for L/C/R's, no doubt in my mind they will sound better than the mess thats in there now.

I would like to that Ms. Stinky for leaving her purse open on the table the day after she got paid.

Now I must go find a construction site to borrow some wood.

They have been great and amazing fast shipping. I ordered a eminence speaker for my son's fender amp on thursday afternoon, and it was at my house on Saturday. Free shipping, and a smile on the boy's face. Priceless!

Y'know...I almost posted here about this the other day, but didn't because it was related to another online dealer, but I am so frustrated...and this just brought the bile up to my throat again....
I had purchased a new Onkyo 807 from ...well anyways. I had to RMA the first one, it wouldn't play nice with my projector...They made me "Advance Ship" the second one, literally holding me hostage, to get their original one back...(which entailed me giving my CC info again, so they could bill me if it was not shipped...) Fine...I'm an honest guy, so I do as they ask. The second one comes in with the corners all bashed in, the foam packing is damaged, one corner punctured...OK this thing is 50 LBS!!! It says "FRAGILE" ALL OVER IT. It says TWO people are reccomended to carry it!!!! Some D*bag is tossing it around like it's his sleeping bag... and now I have trouble returning it?!?!?!?! They have to "Make a claim"
I had UPS reject a "claim" a year ago, on an RMA for my projector...they actually crushed the lens...and denied it...PLANAR took care of it, but they shouldn't have to....

The receiver itself shows no OUTWARD signs of damage, but it is electronic equipment...there's no way I am accepting this.

I have a pretty good friend that worked for UPS a few years back....and he's a pretty respectful guy. It's early on in his first few weeks with them, and they're unloading a bunch of DELL PC's one day, and he starts taking each package one by one from one conveyor to the next...the SUPERVISOR yells over and is like..."Hey New Guy...what're you doing?" Comes over and starts chucking them from one conveyor to the other, some hitting the floor...etc...
he tells my buddy, "That's how we do it"...

I'm still amazed that when I order from PE, things arrive within 2 days every time. Maybe cause I'm in WV. I've been lucky with no damage from shipping I guess.

Last Friday afternoon I ordered the 500W plate amp on special last weekend and it arrived via FedEx on Saturday morning. Less than 1 day! Great job PE!:)
