re-entrant horns for p.a. use

Hello all, does anyone have an idea if re-entrant style horns will work with compression drivers? I have a pair of bogen SAH 30 self amplified horn that are blown,I was thinking about converting them over to compression driver for outdoor midrange p.a. use.They have a claimed response of 275Hz-14KHz,was planning on using a pair of Selenium D250-X horn drivers on them.Would be crossing over at around 500Hz at 12dB

Re-entrant horns are only useful as a midrange or speech-range device because of all the internal reflections in the curved/folded horn flare. You'll get extremely poor performance.
