hell no, awful band. Seperately, RATM and Soundgarden are superior to that commercial mess. I own the entire catalogue of both bands but cringe every time Audioslave comes on the radio.


*shrugs*

The best side effort so far is Zach's current "One Day as a Lion" That album is incredible.

I'll agree that Audioslave isn't up to where Rage or Soundgarden are (Soundgarden being one of my all-time favs) but they're a very good band and one I enjoy listening to. Especially compared to 99.9% of the crap that's released these days.

I got to witness Chris Cornell two years ago in concert and it was an experience I'll never forget. That guy has the greatest rock voice ever. I love when people talk about American Idol and how great the contestants are. I tell them to listen to Chris Cornell sing, and had he appeared on that show it would have been game over. They have nothing to say after that.

I agree with you. I think Chris has a great rock voice and fronting Rage is a good combination.
