Hello All,

I am selling a pair of completed tritrix speakers. These were completed from the knockdown kit. I had a great time building them, but they just don't fit in my home so I need to sell them. They are essentially new/barely broken in. Custom grills (with attached felt to reduce diffraction) are included.

I am asking $200, which is the price of the kit. This means you get the veneer, finishing supplies, solder, wire, grills, grill cloth, magnets, paint, and all of my time for free! This was my first time veneering, but I have to say I think the speakers are quite handsome. Buyer must be willing to pick up in Philadephia. I might consider trade for parts (need to build myself some bookshelf sized speakers!)

You can see the build thread here (http://techtalk.parts-express.com/showthread.php?t=217135&highlight=tritrix+mtmpenn)

PM if interested and I can send you higher res photos of the completed project.

Bump... Buyer appears to have fallen through.

I'm selling these for the cost of the unfinished, unassembled kit. If you are interested, please let me know.

Okay, I had to bump it one last time.

I'm practically giving these things away!!

I can't believe that you haven't moved these. Try Craigslist(?)

I posted them a few times and have not gotten much interest. They are sitting in the basement collecting dust...

It might seem like shipping is impossible, out of the question, but I bet they will move in a week if you can find away to ship them and open up the market to more people.

The time (to effectively pack and get to shipping facility) and actual shipping costs would considerably increase my asking price, but I may have to consider it.

I keep thinking I will gift them to someone, but most people I know seem to prefer a bose sound dock because it is small.

It might not be as much as you think it is. I've shipped a 160lb transmission before. A wide plastic bin from wally world might be easier then trying to find a large box. Just an ideal, but they might never sell in a one city market (on this forum). You could try craiglist as already suggested.

I'm not in town, but I almost want to get those for my brother, but I don't want to hear his wife bit... uh um complain about them being "too big", ugly, an eye sore, (insert all complaints).

Your concerns about your brother are why I am struggling to give them away. Most people do not want to make space in their home for nice speakers. I know people that are perfectly happy just putting their iphone on the counter next to them and cranking it up to full distort.

Do a listing at Audiogon! Costs $4.00 for a listing there! I've sold several sets of Tri's there
