Hello all , looking for recommendations to power two omnitop 15's. Right now we're looking for something that will be rugged and will hold up to some travel. Any of you used the behringer A500 ? is it of decent build quality? anything better in that price range or for a little more money?
Appreciate any input
If they are as efficient as Bill claims, maybe a DTA-1? ;)
The general consensus I have heard about Behringer stuff, is that if it works out of the box, it should be good for a while. I have a couple of small items from them, and have no complaints about them.

I have an A500 and it's worked well for me. I don't use it heavily but have had no problems.

i have a crest cpx-900 in VERY nice shape i'd be willing to part with if the price is right, say $250+ shipping....

I would not use the behringer because in my opinion it is not made study enough for a road amp. Sitting in a studio it works ok.
If you are interested I have an older Ashley FET 1000c that weighs in at 44lbs and rated conservatively @ 100 watts/RMS - 8 ohms x 2 and can be monoed as well as run 4 ohm. Email if interested. < than $100.00 + shipping which is a killer. I drove a pair of Klipsch LaScalas with this amp - it could make your ears bleed.

We run 4 OTop15s with 3015 drivers on a Crown XTI4000 but two would be way fine on a 1000. The 4000 ha good headroom to add more later.
