I have a 2.0 cu ft subwoofer enclosure and and 8" driver laying around also a 100 watt amp plate , can I use this big of an enclosure for this speaker ? I would like to keep it sealed, It isn't doing to much as far as power I just want to use it to make the TV with a pair of Tritrix speakers get down a bit lower than the small drivers on the Tritrix do. The box is nice veneer maple MDF braced well and was free so this would be a total budget project. But will it work with such a small driver ?

Depends on the driver. Need to know what driver (brand, number , etc). You will need to know the Thiele-Small parameters or measure them to tell.
Since you have everything, mount it and give it a try if you don't have to cut.

I do have to cut a hole , however it will be easy to go larger if It's to small of a driver. Hopefully I can find the driver information, I of course didn't put it in a folder on the computer like I should have. Thanks

Does it need to be sealed? The SD215 works great in a 2ft box tuned to 23hz (3" port about 16" long). That gives it a gradual roll off until the mid 20s. I've got two of those for my home theater that I just updated: http://techtalk.parts-express.com/showthread.php?t=222249
You could also put the RSS210 in the same box, which models just as well and should be cleaner and play louder.

What's with all these Tech Talk posts in the gallery forum? Is the distinction between the forums not clear?
