OB designs...

Hi all,

just to ask if you guys reached any good OB results with some full range driver and no EQ or you always do some to hard EQ to get descent results ?

And what is "the best" FR in SPL, linear frequency response, and extended bandwidth terms (a weird bandwidth question for an FR, yes I know...).

They are two different approaches. I don't think you always have to go the "hard EQ" route to get enjoyable results. Check out Martin King's website: http://www.quarter-wave.com/ He has documented some projects that should give you some ideas.

As always, if you don't have the capability to measure your designs, it's best to stick to a proven design.
