does this amp turn on when it senses audio input? i read through the manual& couldn't tell

I 'think' I have one of those but it is 150 miles away right now. I should be able to find out in a week or so.

Mine needs to be turned on with the power switch. I will ask my NHT buddy and see what he says.

Here is Jacks reply.
'The SA-3 amplifier does not have any auto on/off circuitry in it. The manual states that it does. This is a misprint.'
