Testing SS R3004 Tweeter

For some time I have been looking for a replacement tweeter for the RT1Ns in my FCZ3.5. The Scan Speak R3004 tweeter is the same size as the RT1N (which is NLA). I hope this tweeter proves to be a upgrade over the RT1N.

So far the measurement show the R3004 is a close match to the RT1N, should be minor change to the XO.

So far this is all I've got done, next I will listen to them and see how they sound compared to the RT1Ns.

I have a pair of R2004's here I should be testing out soon.

How easy was it to put the grill back on?

The front screen just pulls off very easy. The only hard part is connecting wires to the terninals, very easy to break them.

I think this R3004 is the little brother of the R2904.
