Cost aside, is there anything wrong with the LEAP crossover design service that Madisound offers?

No, but . . .

the service they advertise (like, $30 for a two-way) is VERY basic (and "sort of" generic). If you want them to do a really good job, figuring in baffle step and such, you need to send them one of your baffles (or at least a driver layout - and extra cash for them to make some on-baffle measurements). You also have to use drivers that THEY have "in-house", otherwise you've got to ship them yours for a bit. I'm fairly certain that all these "extras", cost extra.

You might be able to get some kind soul on this board to do as good of a job, for next to nothing.

Chris

- these are from a madi XO, for an MtM. Perty, aren't they?

I don't doubt that there are some people on here that can do just as good of a job.
They're some really sharp people that hang out here.

As for your crossover, I think you did an excellent job assembling those.
Don't forget to tie down that 8.2uF cap....just kidding!
By the way, how did the Mad. crossover sound?
