Try adjusting the run parameters for the program. Tell it to run in XP mode, and see what happens.
Pete, I tried both XP modes and most of the others, but no success. thanks anyhow.
Is anyone having success running SPLView under Win7?

I rarely use SPLview. You can open the ZMA/FRD files in PCD, RM, and others, so I feel it's a redundant program.
That may help you,

Running 64-bit Ultimate . . . no problems.
You sure you have all the modules downloaded for the package?
From the download page.
The minimum setup option is designed for users that already have the following DLL files installed in the C:\Windows\System or C:\Winnt\System32 folder:
COMCAT.DLL STDOLE2.DLL ASYCFILT.DLL OLEPRO32.DLL OLEAUT32.DLL MSVBVM60.DLL
Uninstalled and reinstalled using full setup, but no cigar. I'll try it on an older machine running XP. I'm working my way thru "Simple Loudspeaker Design", step 10 uses SPLView.

Like Wolf said, it's optional. Use Jeff's Response modeler or PCD to have a look.

Your image is too large. Reduce the size to just the graph.
(you have two monitors?)

No on the two monitors, but you are correct on the size issue. I didn't notice the program was opening with the graph full screen but spectrum only out to 2k. Reducing the display graph down to properly show the entire spectrum and everything loads ok.
Thanks for the help.
